Hi Jon,
Your best bet is to get a "Pan-Ex" or what is known as a panoramic X-ray of the root canal area. If the root canal is upper - get a pan-ex of the upper jaw, if lower - get the lower done. "Purists" will say that an X-ray is no good, dangerous, etc. But a root canal left alone is a ticking bomb which can poison and slowly kill over time. Your call - I'd go for the X-ray. It certainly pinpointed my sick dead tooth - which was extracted many years ago - and now NO more sinusitis, 100% cured. Get RID of you root canals, they are NO good and in many cases are an excellent breeding ground for anaerobic bacteria. A CBC (complete blood count) at times may show an elevation of WBC (white blood cells) but it may show nothing as well. Recurring immune illness and having a root canal is suspect in general. Go for the extraction, you health will finally turn the corner.

Excellent article - I have severe adrenal fatigue that has slowly built in terms of the devastation it is causing. I am now investigating my previous root canal surgery as I seem to have some low grade infection that is difficult to trace. Any ideas of what tests can be carried out to confirm a low grade infection would be appreciated!
